Bonbon

Bonbon’s background was originally in Sheep herding but she soon fond she had a taste for everything triathlon. A pure bred Border Collie from good working stock bonbon may not be pedigree but still shows a lot of class and her enthusiasm for running is a challenge for anyone to keep up with.
A good swim technique means she is as happy in the water as she is on the land. (although she does often have to be enticed in by throwing a stick) and although swimming almost started at birth, we are still having to work on her catch and her head position as we move her away from doggie paddle to front crawl.
Before turning her attention to triathlon, Bonbon focused on running but finding a natural instinct for swimming she is moving ever closer to being a fully-fledged triathlete once we can sort out a bike to fit her.
Bonbon is a tireless member of the team who’s enthusiasm and boundless energy is sure to make you feel guilty about not getting out there for a run or at the very least at least participating in some stick throwing.
On the open water swims Bonbon often takes up a position at the front of the boat barking out orders and encouragement, On the longer runs she will often lead the pack and keep the pace high but is renowned for circling back to make sure none of the stragglers are left behind.
Now a fully paid up member of the FFTRI (French triathlon federation) Bonbon is battling hard to see the constitution changed to allow her to race in FFTRI sanctioned races in much the same way she believes that the BTF have allowed in the UK. We have tried to convince her that Tim Don is not part poodle and it is just the hair, but she seems unconvinced by our argument.
Great with kids and always a lot of fun to be around Bonbon is sure to bring another dimension to your training.
