About Les-Stables

Originally an 18th Century Stables that serviced the Maison de Maitre, this recently converted facility is not just a venue for training but is a truly enchanting, picturesque and instinctively French setting. Whilst offering an abundance of facilities for swimming, cycling and running, in addition Les-Stables provides surroundings that ensures the development of a more holistic approach to training and relaxation all captured within a location that offers a true insight into the French culture.

What it Offers

Les Stables is a purpose designed sporting venue that offers both accommodation, sports facilities and coaching for a number of sports, most predominantly, cycling, swimming and running and was developed especially with triathlon and cycling in mind.

Apart from the accommodation which itself is spectacular, the venue also offers a 25 metre pool, a riverside setting perfect for open water swimming and an 800 metre cinder running track as well as a barbeque area and enough space to escape and find some tranquillity if you feel you need a break from the toils of training.

The Venue and Location

Located in the south west of France in what is commonly referred to as the Dordogne or more locally as Le Perigord Vert, Les-Stables is set within a 55 Acre protected estate situated in the commune of Valeuil on the edge of the historic town of Bourdeilles.

The terrain within the estate is varied and includes open meadow as well as established forest and is bordered along one side by the river Dronne, which meanders its way through the region.

Getting Here

Well serviced by cheap flights to Limoges and Bergerac airports and within six and a half hours from the ports of Le Havre or St Malo the venue is easily accessible by both car or plane so the choice is yours. More info >>
